Even our dog Paris got into the Christmas spirit! :)
Tuesday Andrew and I decided to take Jackson to Arbor Place Mall to visit Santa. We got there when Santa was "feeding his reindeer" but got in line anyway. Fortunately that was a wise decision. By the time Santa got back the line was very very long! An hour later Jackson sat in Santa's lap with no problem and got a reindeer hat! The hat lasted about 5 minutes until he ripped off an ear and tried to eat it. We had a blast!
Christmas Eve we spent time at Great Grandma Beverly's house. We had so much fun. Jackson got to open his first Christmas present. He had so much fun!
Today on Christmas morning we woke up to see that Santa brought Jackson his first big Tonka truck that he can ride on! I think he liked it!
Since it was Jackson's first Christmas we invited all of our family to come over for lunch to celebrate with us:) We had yummy food and a great time together. When everyone left this is what Daddy and Jackson did!
I think I will go do the same! Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Birthday Jesus!

Warm December?
This has been such a great week! It has been different since last week we had to bundle Jackson up like an Eskimo baby and this week he is wearing short sleeves! Tuesday night we went to dinner with Nathan and Lisa. It was so much fun. Jackson ate his first taste of biscuit. He has really been using those new teeth of his this week. He started eating "snacks" and gums the heck out of whatever we give him! My goals this week were for Jackson to have more floor time and tummy time to get him to crawl, and to get him to hold a sippy cup. We are still in progress...
Last night we had Sarah and Patrick over for dinner. That was a blast as always! Today Uncle Mark brought me lunch and he played with Jackson for a bit then went out and is staining our fence! It looks so awesome! While it was warm (70 degrees) I took Jackson outside with his walker. He enjoyed being outside and LOVED playing with leaves. So it was a great opportunity to learn a great lesson, we don't eat leaves. After about 20 times of me telling him this I think he finally got it. We shall see the next time we go out! He had a blast though! I can't wait to see what the next week holds! Hopefully we'll go see Santa soon!

December
Okay so he may have my chubby cheeks. Granddaddy Mitchell says that Jackson is storing up nuts for the winter! LOL!
December so far has been great, but busy. Jackson is still growing like a weed, and changes every day! He loves to play on the floor on his blanket with all of his toys!
He loves to give hugs:)
Last weekend we had a family Christmas party and my mom and dad's house and Jackson loved hanging out in Aunt Sarah's room and listening to her play guitar!
As you know Jackson has his two bottom teeth. Well he just started getting back into his sleep routine and of course what happens? He has two big chompers coming in up top! Ouch no wonder they hurt! So every time I try to get a picture of his teeth this is what I get:) SOO CUTE!
We were at Chickfila, yes I know, big shocker there! We were at Chickfila, as usual when they decide to bring out Santa cow. Andrew wanted him to sit in his lap. I was a little hesitant since the first time we ran into Santa Jackson didn't like it. I hate it because the picture with Jackson and Santa I had on my phone accidentally got deleted. So we retook one with Santa BEHIND Jackson so he couldn't see him:) Oh it should be a blast when we actually go see Santa...oh me oh my....
Me and Lisa went on one of our shopping adventures this week. I was on the prowl for a dress for Andrew's MWV holiday party. So we shopped everywhere at the Avenue in Peachtree city. We ran into my mom and while I was trying on clothes at the GAP she took Jackson to the Baby GAP to try on hats. This is the one we decided on:) I love it!
Last night Andrew and I went to the Omni Hotel in Atlanta for his company's Christmas party. It was so nice to get out on the town with Andrew. We got to get dressed up and eat a very elegant meal! It was great hanging out with all of the people Andrew spends the majority of his day with! He is very blessed to work for such a great company and great people!
LOL! At this angle we blocked the big tree.....

Thanksgiving break
We had the greatest Thanksgiving break ever. It started off with Andrew's birthday weekend. Monday we went over to West Georgia and drove around our old school. It was like old times and we even ate at the McDonald's. We went over there so we could pick up software for our MAC. The boy loves to jump!
Wednesday night we went to the Steele's annual Thanksgiving get together. We had so much fun playing games and hanging out. Andrew and I got to play Wii for the first time and I had a blast.
Thursday was Thanksgiving and we had a great first Thanksgiving with Jackson. We got up and watched some of the parade. Then we went to my Grandma's house to eat Thanksgiving lunch. It was great getting to see everyone. That afternoon we spent our time with Andrew's family. After that we were so stuffed!
Jackson and Grandaddy
Friday we went out shopping later in the day. Andrew and I went to Ashely Park and got almost all of our Christmas shopping done.
Saturday we spent the day at Nathan and Lisa Coggin's house watching football and eating yummy food! Sunday we relaxed at home:) We cleaned up around the house and decided to box up some of Jackson's toys that he doesn't use anymore. We let Jackson swing in his swing for the last time. He really enjoyed it!
Today Andrew went back to work and me and Jackson missed him so much! Today Jackson found everything funny. So tonight I finally taped him laughing! I hope it makes you laugh too!

Andrew's Birthday weekend!
Andrew turned 27 on Sunday so I decided to have a Birthday weekend for him. On Friday Andrew came home to a nice dinner. We finally used our fancy china from our wedding. It was very nice. After dinner we had cake and then we gave Andrew his presents. Jackson got him a huge bag of megablocks. Andrew and Jackson sat in the floor for 30mins solid playing with the blocks. Andrew built and Jackson destroyed. Now if you just sit Jackson on the blanket in the floor he starts squealing because he knows they are about to play with blocks!
On Saturday Jackson got his 3rd haircut...yes 3rd! This time was a little harder. He started to cry whenever she started cutting (Like it hurt). As soon as Brandi gave him attention he stopped. So cute! Also it was so cold he finally got to wear his winter coat...he didn't like it...hopefully he will grow to love jackets like his mommy does!
After that we went to my parents house for a little while before we went to a book shower at Amber Steele's new house! The book shower was for Tripp, (and Jessica and Justin). We had so much fun getting to see everyone!
Sunday was a nice relaxing day. Andrew didn't have to leave the house all day! For dinner Andrew wanted pizza so Andrew's parents brought over pizza and cake. Mark and Brian also came. We had so much fun together. Andrew got a VOX guitar amp (more musical equipment) which he loves. Mark had the great idea for this gift. It was something that Andrew loves but wouldn't buy for himself. So it was nice to see Andrew surprised and loving his gift! So to our neighbors, sorry ahead of time for the loud music coming from our house.
Today was a great day! We got up and Andrew did some work around the house. This afternoon we went and paid our taxes and then drove to West Georgia so Andrew could get software for our MAC:) YAY we have WORD now!!! Also Andrew has been working on teaching Jackson how to make his tongue click and tonight he finally did it! Jackson was so proud he did it over and over and over....until I got the camera out, of course. I did however caught on tape Jackson's new favorite thing is to drink from a cup. So whenever Andrew has his cup of water Jackson wants to drink from it too. Enjoy!

Crazy November!
November has be so crazy for us. With wedding showers, parties, wedding, and birthday parties...we are going insane! I was in Shay's wedding this weekend and we had a blast. It was so much fun last night dancing with Andrew! The wedding was amazing and everything was so beautiful. At the reception they had the bestest band ever Flavor which were so awesome. We danced and my feet still hurt!
Jackson got to spend Friday and Saturday with Grammie and Grandaddy. We have had this morning to rest and relax. We had subs for lunch and I am about to bake a cake for Andrew to take to work tomorrow. Then we are off to Jackson's first ever birthday party! Gregory is turning 1!!! It seems like he was just born! Patty is making it a cowboy theme so we are excited Jackson gets to wear his "Howdy Partner" shirt! Things have been great just really busy!Carter was all dressed up for the Cowboy Party!

Pumpkin Carving and Halloween!
Sorry for the delay but as usual we stay busy. Jackson keeps growing and is getting more mobile. He now has two full in bottom teeth. Hopefully it will be a while before we are blessed with more teeth...I am just now getting some sleep!
As usual we kept up our tradition of carving pumpkins. This year we added a 3rd pumpkin for Jackson:) He sat in his jumpy seat while we carved...he had fun watching.
When we finished we sat him up on the table to see the pumpkins face to face....he wouldn't look them directly in the eye....
Then he got use to them.On Friday (Halloween) we got dressed and went to lunch in downtown Newnan with Patty and Greg and Megan. Then we walked around and went Trick-or-Treating. Of course we spent some time at Grammy's work! Aunt Sarah even came to visit!
This is what Jackson did most of the time...maybe next year will be more eventful!
Gregory was Tigger!
When we got back to mom's work Grammy saved him by taking him out of his hot chicken outfit. He was so excited to get out!
When we came home we got dressed in our Halloween shirt and got ready to pass out candy to all the kids! It was a great first Halloween and I can't wait until next year when he is WALKING around! Crazy to think about!
